On Monday the world's largest solar plant was opened. It is located only 45 minutes away from the Coachella Valley in Desert Center. The plant is large enough to power 160,000 homes and has more than 8.1 million modules that produce 550 megawatts of electricity. The electricity generated is distributed to Southern California Edison and Pacific Gas & Electric. Aqua Sun Ozone is lucky enough to potentially use some of this clean energy since we purchase our electricity from Southern California Edison. California's three major utilities are on track to meet a 33% renewable energy mandate by 2020 and the governor trying to increase it to 50% by 2030.
Aqua Sun Ozone even makes its own green products, one of which is The Ozone Otter™. The Ozone Otter™ only costs pennies a day to operate and works great on above-ground pools, small residential pools, swim spas and more.
