Here at Aqua Sun Ozone we do our best to protect the environment. We are always looking for natural alternatives for the things we do in our everyday life. Recently we found some great DIY natural cleaners for your home and we wanted to share them with you.  Below you will find the different cleaners and how to make them:

  • Heavy Duty Kitchen Scrub: Combine all of the ingredients into a bowl. Apply the kitchen scrub to surfaces utilizing the gritty side of a two-sided kitchen sponge. Scrub until clean and wipe the area with a wet cloth.
    • 1/4 cup of baking soda
    • 1/4 cup of natural dish soap
    • 5 drops of clove essential oil
    • 3 drops of filtered water
  • Glass Cleaner: Pour all of the ingredients into a 24-ounce spray bottle. Shake the bottle to combine ingredients. Spray the mixture on a microfiber cloth and apply to the glass until spot-free and smooth.
    • 2 cups of filtered water
    • 2 tablespoons of rubbing alcohol
    • 2 tablespoons of white vinegar
    • 5 drops of peppermint essential oil
  • Mold and Mildew Remover: Add the water and tea tree oil into a 24-ounce spray bottle. Shake the bottle to combine ingredients. Spray any moldy areas with a heavy dose of the mixture and allow it to sit for one day. After 24 hours pour the baking soda into a small bowl. Spritz the baking soda with the mixture in the bottle until a glue-like paste forms. Apply the paste to the moldy area using a toothbrush. Scrub the moldy area then rinse thoroughly.
    • 2 cups of filtered water
    • 2 teaspoons of tea-tree oil
    • 1/4 cup of baking soda
  • Shower Cleaner: Mix both ingredients into a microwave-safe bowl. Heat the mixture in the microwave for 30 to 60 seconds. Pour the mixture into a 24-ounce spray bottle. Spritz the mixture onto the shower surfaces and allow it to stand for 3 to 5 minutes. Wipe the shower clean with a microfiber cloth.
    • 1 cup of filtered water
    • 1/4 cup of white vinegar
  • All-Purpose Disinfectant: Pour all of the ingredients into a 24-ounce spray bottle. Shake the bottle to combine ingredients. Spray surfaces with the mixture then allow it to sit for 10 minutes. Wipe surfaces clean with a microfiber cloth.
    • 1-1/2 cups of filtered water
    • 1/2 cup of white vinegar
    • 1/2 cup of vodka
    • 10 drops of lemon essential oil
    • 10 drops of lavender essential oil

Don’t forget ozone can also be used in your kitchen to sanitize anything from your cutting board to your countertop.
